The artillery 'ouvrage' is made up of two block clusters interconnected by a long subterranean gallery, on which the Command Post is located close to the combat blocks. The Rear Block Cluster consists of two entrances, both topped with 'cloches', which are embedded in the concrete on either side of them. Armed with automatic rifles, 5 cm mortars or hand-grenade launchers, such bell-like positions were actually the bunker's observatories.

• The Ammunition Entrance provides space for handling loads and embodies two blockhouses, which where armed with twin machine-guns, 3.7 / 4.7 cm anti-tank guns, automatic rifles and hand-grenade launchers. This weaponry was meant for short range coverage fire.
• The Men's Entrance was also armed with such weapons. Around 25 m below ground level, it houses a barracks, a power shop and first aid facilities. The Front Cluster consists of Infantry and Artillery blocks.
• The Infantry Blocks include casemates and rotating, retractable machine-gun turrets.
• The Artillery Blocks include rotating, retractable cannon and mortar turrets.

Each 'ouvrage' was protected by a network of traps, viz. barbed wires, embedded spikes, upright standing rails, and could provide coverage fire to their neighbouring 'ouvrages'. They are located a few miles apart from one another, on and along a winding line stretching several miles away from and along the borders of Luxemburg, Germany and Italy.
